The Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Samuel H. Kress Foundation Conference Attendance Award for International Exchange to support attendance at the upcoming ARLIS/NA Conference in Portland, OR. Thanks to the generous support of the Samuel H. Kress Foundation, this award helps fund international travel and encourages the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and professional connections among art librarians. The award supports attendance at international conferences, fostering communication and engagement with global projects and initiatives in the field of art librarianship.
Exceptional art information professionals residing in Europe will receive awards beginning at the amount of $1,000 USD to attend the 55th annual ARLIS/NA conference, to be held April 4-7 in Portland, Oregon, thereby fostering communication and developing connections with international projects and initiatives.
The Samuel H. Kress International Travel Awards Committee will take into consideration levels of need, participation, and travel costs before determining the final amount, but each award will begin with the $1,000 USD amount.
