The UMN Arts Librarian intern will have the opportunity to explore collection development, research methods teaching and reference, hands-on exhibition assistance, and digital project work in the areas of art history, fine arts, theater and dance. Areas of depth in the collection include contemporary art and photography, American Art, French 19th century art, contemporary theater and dance with a focus on performance and multimedia. The intern must have a strong interest in art history and have a degree or experience either in studio arts, museum work, art history, or the performing arts. Interested individuals should be heading into, enrolled in, or just completed an MLIS program.
