ARLIS/NA Launches Library Staff Membership Type

Earlier in 2022, the ARLIS/NA membership approved a new membership type for launch with the 2023 membership year. The library staff membership is available to those who self-identify as paraprofessionals, library technicians, or library support staff. Such members fall within the individual membership class, thus qualifying for all rights and privileges extended to individual members of the society. This includes the right to vote, hold elected office, receive member pricing for events, join local chapters, access the Society’s periodical publications, and to join ARLIS/NA divisions, sections, and special interest groups (SIGs). The membership type is available to current and future ARLIS/NA members.
