Category: Governance Reqiurement

It's time to begin preparing annual reports in advance of the Montreal conference. The annual reports deadline is Friday, February 27.

The ARLIS/NA Policy Manual states: Annual Reports shall be written by every person with a leadership role in the society, e.g., Executive Board members, Chairs of Committees, Moderators of Divisions, Sections, Chapter Chairs, and Special Appointments including the Editorial Board.

This is the second year of our Survey Monkey report submissions. Report submitters’ feedback on the new submission process was overwhelmingly positive, and will allow our Strategic Plan coordinators + Executive Board analyze Society progress towards our Strategic Goals and evaluate Society engagement in diversity & inclusion and anti-racism. We’ve made some small tweaks to facilitate the back-end better, but generally you should expect a similar experience to last year’s annual and goal setting report.

If you are a leader of a group, you’ll be sent a unique link directly from Survey Monkey. By using this link, your progress will be saved as you fill out the form, so that if you don’t complete it in one sitting, you can come back and complete it later.

If you’d like to know what you’ll be asked before getting into it, I’ve uploaded blank questionnaires on the Reporting and Templates page (member login required to view). https://www.arlisna.org/report-and-proposal-guidelines You can also check out previous years’ reports! https://www.arlisna.org/annual-reports
If you have any immediate issues with or questions about reporting or filling out the form, please email secretary@arlisna.org for assistance.
