The Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) is pleased to announce that the exhibition catalogue for Radical Women: Latin American Art, 1960-1985, curated by Cecilia Fajardo-Hill and Andrea Giunta, has been awarded the 39th annual George Wittenborn Memorial Book Award. The Wittenborn Award was presented at ARLIS/NA’s 46th annual conference held in New York City, February 25-March 1, 2018.
The Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) recognized Duke University students Jason Kaplan and Caroline Frank with the 2017 Sotheby’s Institute of Art Research Award for student research in art markets. The award was established by Sotheby's Institute of Art in 2014 and is administered by ARLIS/NA to encourage excellence in a student paper or digital art history project on a topic relevant to collecting or the art market.
