As an international organization, the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) is committed to diversity and inclusion within the art, design, and librarianship professions and has the stated goal to foster “the development of intercultural fluency skills and competencies, and the practice of inclusive collections building.” ARLIS/NA actively seeks collaborative relationships with other arts and information organizations to further the goals of art information professionals.
Public Policy Committee News Alerts support the committee's mission to monitor public policy issues and keep the ARLIS/NA membership informed. The monthly alerts are intended to be conversation starters, help members keep up on public policy issues, and alert members to new developments. In honor of Fair Use week, the February Public Policy News Alert is all about Fair Use / Fair Dealing.
