The Student Advancement Award subcommittee of the Awards Committee is accepting applications for the 2018 Wolfgang M. Freitag Internship Award. The award provides financial support for students preparing for a career in art or architecture librarianship or visual resources curatorship.
The internship aims to represent the multifaceted nature of the field by providing internship opportunities to students currently enrolled in, or having completed within the last 12 months, a graduate program in library and information science, art history, architectural history, architecture, studio art, or museum studies. The award grants $3000 to the selected recipient to support a 150-hour internship in an art library or visual resources collection.
The Award will be announced and presented during convocation ceremonies at the ARLIS/NA 47th Annual Conference in Salt Lake City, UT March 26-30, 2019.
