Call for photographers for #ARLIS2017

The Fashion, Textile, and Costume Special Interest Group has partnered with Librarian Wardrobe to share photos from the ARLIS/NA Annual Conference in New Orleans, LA. We are looking for volunteer photographers to assist with the Librarian Wardrobe’s coverage of the ARLIS/NA 2017 Annual Conference from Sunday, February 5 to Thursday, February 9.

Please sign up for this volunteer position here. We will take volunteers on a first come, first serve basis. This is a great opportunity for new ARLIS/NA members and student members. We will take the first four volunteers. Thank you for your assistance.

Nicole LaMoreaux, Moderator of Fashion, Textile, and Costume SIG
Lauren Gavin, Vice-Moderator of Fashion, Textile, and Costume SIG

Reminder: volunteers still needed

We are just a few weeks away from our 45th annual conference in New Orleans, and I still need a few more people to volunteer some of their time.  We still need people to assist at the registration and hospitality desk to welcome members and hand out bags and badges. We also need exhibit hall ambassadors to answer questions and assist any solo exhibitors.  You could also contribute to our organization by volunteering at the silent auction, or perhaps lead a walking group to our Convocation site.

You will have the opportunity to volunteer when you register for the conference, or you can complete this form at anytime: https://goo.gl/forms/pS32kfciat4XErXH3

For those of you have already volunteered, thank you!  I will be emailing confirmations and schedule details a week before the conference. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly at pgimenez@scad.edu.  See you in New Orleans!
