Conference Registration

Registration for the ARLIS/NA 42nd Annual Conference is now open.

After April 17, 2014 we kindly ask you to register onsite at the conference.
Onsite conference registration will be located in the McPherson Square meeting room on the Independence level of the Grand Hyatt Washington.
Onsite conference registration opens on May, 1, 2014 at 7:00am.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

The ARLIS/NA cancellation policy is a full refund minus a $75.00 (USD) administrative fee – for cancellations up to 30 days prior to the start of the conference.

Cancellations less than 30 days prior to the start of the conference, in addition to the $75.00 (USD) administrative fee, tours, workshops and special events will be refunded at 50%, unless the tour is fully booked to the maximum number of participants and a replacement from a wait list can be made prior to 7 days before the conference.

Within 7 days prior to the conference, there will be no refunds, barring extreme circumstances. Requests for refunds at this time must be made in writing to the ARLIS/NA Treasurer, Debbie Barlow Smedstad, dbarlowsmedstad@mfa.org.

Wait List Policy

A wait list is an electronic list of conference attendees who are waiting to register for a special event, workshop or tour (henceforth referred to as ‘event’). If a wait list is available, attendees may sign up to be on a wait list when they attempt to register for an event that has reached its capacity. When a space becomes available, the first person on the wait list is notified via email.
  • An individual on a wait list is not officially registered for the event.
  • Being on a wait list does not guarantee registration for an event or that a new event will be made available.
  • An individual may remove themselves from a wait list by sending an email to registration@arlisna.org.
  • An individual is not officially registered for an event until payment has been received.
  • Only credit card payment can be accepted.
