ACTIVITIES

Cara List is moderating a session at the ARLIS/NA Annual Conference 2003 in Baltimore, which will be of special interest to serials librarians.  Seminar XII: A Picture’s Worth A Thousand Words: Copyright, Art Images, and E-Journals will take place at 8:00 AM on Monday, March 24^th.  Speakers will be Eve Sinaiko, Director of Publications, College Art Association; Heidi McGregor, Director of Publisher Relations, JSTOR; and Conna Clark, Manager, Rights and Reproductions, Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The combined Serials Round Table/ Serials Problems Discussion Group meeting is scheduled to take place at the conference on Friday, March 21^st from 4:30 to 6:00 PM.

The online serials swap that takes place through the ARLIS-L discussion list continues to be successful and very popular.

Gisele Guay, the long-time Update Column Editor for the Serials Round Table will be retiring as editor as of this year’s annual conference.  She has consented to write a brief statement outlining her methods in presenting information about new titles, ceased publications, and resumed titles.
