Chairperson, Tom Greives

Committee Members: Jacqueline Allen, Heather Ball, V.Heidi Hass, Lauren Lessing, Marcy Neth, Henry Pisciotta and Laurie Whitehill Chong, Board Liaison.

Annual meeting of the PDC took place on Saturday March 31st, 2001 The primary discussion was concerned with developing the processes to administer the ARLIS/NA Internship program and developing the Jack Robertson Rare Books School Fellowship. Additional topics included; updating the Libraries school survey and developing additional continuing education programs for professional development. Duties were assigned to each member.

The 2002 ARLIS/NA Internship was awarded to John T. Schlinke. John is completing his library science program at the university of Rhode Island and is considering his options for the internship.

The PDC has two new members. Jacqueline Allen, Head of Libraries, Archives and Information Services at The Mildred R. and Frederick M Mayer Library of the Dallas Museum Of Art, and V. Heidi Hass, Head of the Reference Collection at the Pierpont Morgan Library in New York. These two art librarians replace Christina Gjertson and Liv Valmestad on the PDC. I certainly wish the record to show my appreciation for the generous contributions of these two librarians.

Respectfully submitted,
Tom Greives
