ARLIS/WNY meeting hosted by University
at Buffalo: "Seeing the Wright Things in Buffalo". Meeting organized
by Carole Ann Fabian and Susana Tejada in cooperation with University at
Buffalo Assistant Archivist, Rodney Obien. The one-day program included
the following events and speakers:
The 2000 ARLIS/WNY Professional Development Award of $300.00 was awarded to Eric Schwab, Assistant Slide Curator, Knight Visual Resources Facility, Cornell University.
Publications and Communications
The Chapter continues to gather data and update its Arts & Crafts in Western New York Survey http://scholes.alfred.edu/orgs/arlis/survey/surveytitlepage.html
The Chapter prepared and approved for printing a tri-fold brochure to be used in marketing ARLIS/WNY to the three library schools within its membership region: University at Buffalo, University at Albany and Syracuse University.
Bylaw revisions are under discussion to include a new office, Publications Editor, to oversee all digital and print materials created and distributed by the Chapter with the goal of establishing a consistent graphical identity and quality of content across all publications.
