A number of our Chapter members were able to attend the ARLIS/NA 2000 meeting in Pittsburgh.  2000 was the inaugural year of the ARLIS/NA Ontario Chapter Travel Award, and the first recipient was Amy Marshall, our incoming Chair. Funds for the award were raised due the initiative of Jill Patrick, who orchestrated a sale of desirable art monographs to ARLIS/NA members. The Ontario Chapter donated a well-received gift basket for the conference's fund-raising silent auction.

The participation for the Spring 2000 meeting, held at the Arts and Letters Club, Toronto, on May 26th was very impressive
