The ARLIS Twin Cities chapter held its fall meeting on September 20, 2005, at the newly redesigned Walker Art Center. Library director, Rosemary Furtak; archivist, Jill Vetter; and slide librarian, Stephanie Kays, hosted the meeting. The Walker Art Center reopened in April 2005 after a yearlong expansion project by the Swiss architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron. The result is a new wing integrated into the existing Edward Larrabee Barnes structure. ARLIS/TC members were given a tour of the new library, archives, and slide library.

A chapter business meeting was held after the tour. Kathy Heuer, College of Visual Arts, St. Paul, was elected as chair to succeed Jody Walz, University of Minnesota. Kay Streng, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, will continue to serve as secretary/treasurer.
