Margit Ahmann Wilson is the recipient of the 2014 Wolfgang M. Freitag Internship Award. In addition to a stipend, the award winner receives a one-year complimentary membership in ARLIS/NA. Margit received her Master of Library and Information Science degree from St. Catherine University in December 2013. She will begin her internship at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in May 2014.

Margit will attend the ARLIS/NA Annual Conference in D.C. thanks in part to another award she was received this year--the Twin Cities Chapter Travel Award.

The Wolfgang M. Freitag Internship Award grants $2,500 to support a 150-hour internship for a student or recent graduate preparing for a career in art librarianship or visual resources curatorship. While only one award is granted each year, ARLIS/NA maintains a list of paid and unpaid internship opportunities in its Internship Roster. Interested students and potential hosts are encouraged to visit the Internship Roster.
