New 2014 Executive Board Members

Congratulations to the newly elected 2014 Executive Board members. The following individuals will join the executive board at the 2014 Membership Meeting to be held at the 42nd Annual Conference in Washington, D.C.

Kristen Regina is the Chief Art Librarian and Archives and Visual Resouces Manager at the Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens in Washington, D.C. She is the exhibits coordinator for the 42nd Annual Conference and was the trip leader for the International Relations Committee's Study Tour to Russia in 2013. Regina was the moderator of the Museum Division in 2009-2010, the chair of the International Relations Committee, 2006-2019, and served on the Development and Awards committees. She has also been active at the chapter level, serving from 2007 to 2009 as vice-chair, chair, and past chair of the ARLIS/DC-MD-VA chapter.

Mark Pompelia is the Visual + Material Resource Librarian at Rhode Island School of Design's Fleet Library in Providence, Rhode Island. He is currently a member of the ARLIS/NA-VRA Joint Conference Taskforce, and served on the Virtual Conferencing Advisory Group in 2012 and the Assessment Taskforce from 2006 to 2007. Pompelia has also been active in the Visual Resources Association, serving on the executive board from 2003 to 2005 and from 2007 to 2009. He was also a member of the VRA Publications Advisory Group from 2009 to 2011.

Sylvia Roberts is the Liaison Librarian, Contemporary Arts and Communication at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC. She joined ARLIS/NA in 2010 and has served on the Diversity Committee since 2012. Roberts has been an active member of the British Columbia Library Association (BCLA), serving as its treasurer and assistant treasurer from 2002-2004, and its membership secretary from 1998-1999. Her activities with BCLA include chairing the Conference Program Planning Committee and serving on the Copyright and Information Policy committees.

Holly Hatheway is Assistant Director for Collections, Research & Access Services at the Haas Family Arts Library, Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. She is currently the chair of the International Relations Committee and served as a leader, organizer, and host for several of the committee's Study Tours, and was a member of the Development Committee from 2009-2011. Hatheway served as vice-chair, chair, and past chair of the ARLIS/New York chapter from 2010 to 2012. She is also a member of the Association of Architecture School LibrariansAmerican Library Association, and the Association of College & Research Libraries Arts Section.
