Conference proposals 2001, Los Angeles: A general call for ideas was put out with the understanding that the deadline this year is May 1 (early)
 
There was particular interest in sessions on mentoring and metadata

• The Construct of Indexing: Moderator: Ann Whiteside; panelists: Maryly Snow, Mary Elings, Caroline Beebe, and Linda McRae
• Still Codeless After All These Years: Moderator, Alison Dickey; panelists: Joseph Miller, Trudi Olivetti, Julia Wisniewski, Sherman Clarke.
