• March 1: DEADLINE to apply for ARLIS/NA travel awards for attending the 38th annual conference to be held in Boston, MA on April 23-26, 2010.


• March 5-6: "The Future is Now:  Libraries and Museums in Virtual Worlds", an online conference in OPAL, the webconferencing collaborative service, in Second Life, and in other three-dimensional virtual worlds.


• March 12: ARLIS/NA Lunchtime Chat, "The Future of Art Indexing", moderated by Carole Ann Fabian.


• March 12-13: "Variant Hues: Art, Design, and Teaching with Artists' Books", Savannah College of Art and Design's third annual artists' books symposium. Contact Mary Murphy for more information.


• March 15: DEADLINE to apply for the Samuel H. Kress Foundation Award for European Travel for ARLIS/NA members in good standing who have had a paper accepted at a European conference relevant to the field of art librarianship or visual resources curatorship.

• March 17-20: Visual Resources Association's 28th annual conference held in Atlanta, Georgia.

• April 1: DEALINE for nominations for ARLIS/NA executive board positions. The 2010 Nominating Committee is seeking individuals for vice-president/president elect, secretary, development and membership liaison, education liaison, and chapters liaison.
