The University at Buffalo Libraries seek an entrepreneurial, dynamic and innovative librarian to play a key role in creating, delivering and assessing user-centered services and collections for students and faculty of the School of Architecture and Planning. The Architecture and Planning Librarian will join a team of dedicated librarians and professionals in the Libraries who provide information literacy, research/consultation, outreach and collections services to the local, national and global communities. This 12-month tenure-track faculty appointment includes expectations for research, publication and participation in professional associations.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in library or information science from an ALA-accredited institution is required. Familiarity with or experience serving the research and learning needs of architecture and planning students and faculty is required. A minimum of two years of professional experience as a librarian, intern or graduate assistant in an academic library setting is required.
