SCAD Savannah is seeking a head of technical services for Jen Library. The person in this position is responsible for the original cataloging and cataloging projects for new and retrospective materials not currently included in the online catalog, as well as supervising the technical services staff and the acquisitions librarian. He or she should have familiarity with automated cataloging systems and professional trends in cataloging as well as previous cataloging experience, preferably in an academic library, and knowledge of Innovative Millennium integrated library system. The position requires an M.L.S. degree from an ALA-accredited program, an undergraduate degree and/or graduate degree in a subject discipline taught at SCAD, and strong public service orientation and experience. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
