The Hirsch Library at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston seeks a Technical Services Librarian. This position will be responsible for implementing the library automation system, supervision and training of cataloging staff and assisting with collection development. This position will also participate in long-range planning for the Hirsch and Bayou Bend libraries. The Technical Services Librarian reports to the Director of the Hirsch Library.

Renovated in 2001, the Hirsch Library is open to the public as a non-circulating research library supporting the educational mission of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. The Library is located in a building designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and centrally located within the main campus of the Museum.
