Visual Materials Project Cataloger.  The Huntington Library inSan Marino,California seeks candidates for the position of Visual Materials Project Cataloger.  This position is a regular, salaried, limited-term position which is fully funded for 3 years. 

Working under the general direction of the Head of Technical Services, the Project Cataloger creates descriptive metadata and finding aids for the Jay T. Last Collection of Lithographic and Social History, as well as complementary materials in the prints and ephemera collections held by the library.  Supervises one full-time library assistant as part of the same project; collaborates with the Principal Rare Book Cataloger and the Jay T. Last Curator and Assistant Curator and other Rare Books staff as directed.   Qualifications include an ALA-accredited graduate degree in library science including training in archival theory and practice, or the equivalent experience and coursework.  Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until position is filled.   Complete position description and application procedures may be found at
