Catalog/Reference Librarian

The Stout Reference Library of the Indianapolis Museum of Art seeks a knowledgeable candidate to join a team of talented staff working in a highly collaborative environment. The Catalog/Reference Librarian reports to the Head of Libraries & Archives and is responsible for the cataloging and classification of all library materials. The successful candidate will share responsibility for providing reference services.

Essential job duties:

• Original and copy cataloging of library materials in all formats and in a variety of languages.
• Provide reference assistance to museum staff, volunteers, docents, and the public.
• May supervise and/or train work-study students, volunteers, and interns as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
