Interim / Permanent Library Director

Montserrat College of Art is currently seeking a highly professional and collaborative individual to join our team as Library Director. The Library Director of Montserrat’s Paul Scott Library will oversee the selection and accessibility of Library materials that appropriately support the visual art and liberal arts curriculum and will provide faculty and student-centered support to Library patrons. Services include instruction of students and faculty regarding how to find and use Montserrat library and consortium information. Interim candidates will also be considered for a permanent position.

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of three years of professional librarian experience – ideally in a higher education environment – as well as an ALA-accredited MLS degree. An undergraduate degree, completed coursework, or knowledge of art history or studio art would be a plus.
