Catalog/Reference LibrarianThe Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, MOThe Spencer Art Reference Library seeks an innovative, dynamic, collaborative, service-oriented, and knowledgeable Catalog/Reference Librarian to work with the library team providing technical and reference services in the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, a comprehensive art museum. Primary responsibility is for cataloging and classifying materials in all formats; this position is regularly scheduled at the reference desk including evenings and weekends. The LEONARDO integrated library system (currently SirsiDynix Horizon-based) is shared with the Linda Hall Library of Science, Engineering, and Technology and system migration is planned. Requirements include ALA-accredited Master’s degree in library science, Bachelor’s degree in art history, architectural history, or related humanities field and 1-2 years successful library experience.
