Grand Opening of the Exhibits Hall (NO CONFLICT TIME) |
| Join us in the Exhibits Hall for some special time with our Exhibitors. The Grand Opening of the Exhibits is the first opportunity to make contact with old friends and to discover what is new and exciting for the year in the publishing world. The Exhibit Hall is the only activity scheduled for this time slot, allowing us concentrated time to talk with our exhibitors. Funds received from our exhibitors help subsidize the costs of our conference. Come visit our exhibitors, explore what they’re offering and thank them for their generous support of our professional development! |

Bernett Books invites ARLIS/NA conference attendees to visit its offices in Boston’s historic Leather District for a special gathering featuring drinks, small plates, conversation, and a few of the staff’s favorite tunes on the in-house sound system. Space is limited, so register in advance to guarantee admittance.

Society Circle at Lala Rokh

The Society Circle will dine together at Lala Rokh, an awarding winning Persian restaurant located in the historic Beacon Hill region of Boston. Lala Rokh offers a unique Eastern Mediterranean menu, based on the home-style Persian cuisine that the restaurateurs Azita-Bina Seibel and Babak Bina grew up with. The restaurant also contains their families collection of 14th -16th century Persian miniatures, 8th - 16th century calligraphy, and historic maps.

| Richard McElroy will lead a birdwalk along the waterfront. Be sure to bring your binoculars! For those of you not attending the ARTstor meeting, the birdwalk will go past 8 a.m. Meet in the lobby of the Seaport hotel. |
