Other Activities
Volume 23 saw the adoption of
the 15th edition of The Chicago Manual of Style for style
guidelines. Subtle differences in
the formatting of Art Documentation resulted from this change in
versions.
With the change in AWS Web Site
Editors, the reviews on the Web site now appear with a different layout and
format. The details concerning the
procedures in sending and posting the reviews are still being worked out by
Nedda Ahmed and Joan Stahl.
Beginning with Vol. 24 #1 (Spring 2005), the
identification information for authors and reviewers will be expanded to include
position title, institution, and e-mail address.
Also beginning with Vol. 24
#1, the number of extra copies an author receives will be reduced from three to
one.
Under the direction of
Publications Committee chair Jack Robertson, an agreement was reached with EBSCO
for electronic distribution of Art Documentation articles and
reviews. The Copyright Transfer
Agreement form and clarification in copyright policies were also finalized. Implementation of the process for
sending the PDFs to EBSCO and obtaining the back issues will be addressed over
the coming year.
