LoPresti Awards

ARLIS/SE established in 1985 the LoPresti Publication Awards Competition to recognize and encourage excellence in art publications issued in the southeastern United States. The publication awards are named in honor of Mary Ellen LoPresti, former Design Librarian at North Carolina State University, who died in 1985.

This year marked the 20th anniversary of the LoPresti Awards.  To mark the occasion, a special award.  The winner was the monumental set The Furniture of Charleston, 1680-1820.  This set and other winners will be displayed at the ARLIS/NA conference in Houston, TX in April 2005.  A list of award winners can be found at http://www.arlis-se.org/lopresti.html.
