Ellen Kempf (UC Santa Barbara) is the incoming moderator. Anne Haas (Bowdoin College) is the current Update Editor. In recent years, the update editor has moved up to vice-moderator, then moderator. I presume this pattern will continue this year.
"They Never Covered This in Library School" workshops
The working group charged with planning the "They Never Covered This in Library School" workshop has accomplished great things this year. They will present a two-part workshop on "Basic and Advanced Tools for Research in the Western Middle Ages". Their slate of presenters is very impressive, and I trust the sessions will live up to the stellar reputation of previous workshops in this series.
Barbara Prior (Oberlin College) chairs this group. Members are: Lou Adrean (Cleveland Museum of Art), Sara Harrington (Rutgers University), Barbara Polowy (Smith College), Terrie Wilson (Michigan State University), and Linda Zieper (University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth). Artist files working group
This group plans to have a draft survey instrument for artists files collections available for discussion in NYC. Members of this group are:
Erika Dowell (Indiana University), John Evans (Museum of Fine Arts, Houston), Pam Eyerdam (Cleveland State University), Alba Fernandez (Indianapolis Museum of Art), Roberta Geier (National Gallery of Art), Andrea Goldstein (Temple University), and Terrie Wilson (Michigan State University).
