Leadership Update:

Eric Schwab and Polly Trump will continue as co-chairs in 2004

The Committee met in Baltimore, and plans to meet as a group again in New York City.  Two members, Chris Quinn and Natalia Lochanya are rotating off and we are in the process of choosing two new members.  Ann Lindell and Ellen Kempf will be joining the Committee in NYC. 

This year we made four awards as follows:

Wilson Foundation Research Grant in the amount of $1,500.00 to Margaret Culbertson "House-Family Portrait Photographs of the Nineteenth Century"  

Wilson Foundation Research Grant in the amount of $500.00 to Ruth Wallach "Public Art and City Transportation: Los Angeles, New York, Washington, DC"

Worldwide Books Award for Publications

$500.00 to Joan Benedetti "Managing the Small Art Museum Library"

And 

$500.00 to Sarah McCleskey "Staffing Standards and Core Competencies in Academic Art and Architecture Departmental Libraries: A Preliminary Study."

The Committee decided not to make a Worldwide Books Award for Electronic Resources this year.

Winners have been notified and will receive their checks in New York at the Convocation.
