Attended ARLIS/DVC meeting in Philadelphia

Attended the Austin meeting of ARLIS/Texas/Mexico, discussing further the implications of their recent name change and pledging to form an ARLIS/NA task force to advise on this prospect.

December 2002

Worked with Western Regional Representative, Kay Teel, to create a proposed restructuring of ARLIS/NA’s Awards Committees to be considered by the Board at Pre-Conference Meetings in Baltimore

January 2003

Appointed new Committee Chairs

There are no Division, Section & Roundtable issues to present at this time, although restructuring this part of the organization seems inevitable.  I hope to work with the incoming VP/Pres Elect to consider realistic approaches to this task.  DSRT membership data provided from Headquarters does not truly measure participation and activity.
