March 20: Informal meeting of members at ARLIS/NA
conference, Pittsburgh, PA
October 12-14: Annual Chapter Meeting, Houston, TX
Activities of the Chapter
Annual meeting was planned, starting in Pittsburgh, with the tremendous assistance of the Chapter Executive Committee and members residing in Houston. The annual meeting was attended by most of the current members of the chapter and was very successful. This was also the first joint meeting with members of the newly formed VRA/Texas Chapter. Summary reports on meeting sessions and tours can be read in The Medium 26/2, edited by Polly Trump. The 2000 directory and Vol. 26 of The Medium have resided on the Web site, exclusively, this year. This distribution method is made possible since all members now have access via institutional or personal Internet accounts. Our Web site home was established during the year, in that it was removed from space on a personal memberís account and given its own provider.
